Together with Nyeri archbishop His Grace Anthony Muheria, Nyeri Governor H.E Mutahi Kahiga today launched an ICT / Library Complex at Mukurwe-ini Technical Training Institute.
The complex will be of much help to the over 1,700 students who are acquiring knowledge and skills through innovation and research at the facility.
Speaking at the launch, the Governor noted that through the internship program offered by the County Government of Nyeri, some of the youth shall be supported in order to acquire the necessary experience needed for the job market.
The County Government of Nyeri is fully committed to support this institution to ensure that the students benefit and eventually be able to acquire the technical skills needed.
The institution lies in a 26.2 acre land donated by the Catholic church, Archdiocese of Nyeri.
Others present were Principal Patrick Muchemi, BoG Chairman Anthony Mithanga, Education Secretary Archdiocese of Nyeri Rev. Fr. Maranga, Gikondi MCA Hon. Mary Wamuyu, County Attorney who is also a BoG member Kimani Rucuiya among others
