 Former Cabinet Secretary of Sports Rashid Echesa has been caught on camera slapping an Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC)staff in Matungu

NYERI GOVERNOR MUTAHI KAHINGA LAUNCH OF MUKURWE-INI TTI ICT/LIBRARY COMPLEX:

Together with Nyeri archbishop His Grace Anthony Muheria, Nyeri Governor H.E Mutahi Kahiga today launched an ICT / Library Complex at Mukurwe-ini Technical Training Institute. 

The complex will be of much help to the over 1,700 students who are acquiring knowledge and skills through innovation and research at the facility.

Speaking at the launch,  the Governor noted that through the internship program offered by the County Government of Nyeri, some of the youth shall be supported in order to acquire the necessary experience needed for the job market.

The County Government of Nyeri is fully committed to support this institution to ensure that the students benefit and eventually be able to acquire the technical skills needed.

The institution lies in a 26.2 acre land donated by the Catholic church, Archdiocese of Nyeri.

Others present were Principal Patrick Muchemi, BoG Chairman Anthony Mithanga, Education Secretary Archdiocese of Nyeri Rev. Fr. Maranga, Gikondi MCA Hon. Mary Wamuyu,    County Attorney who is also a BoG member Kimani Rucuiya among others

In this vein Tetu Contituency Mp Hon Gichuhi Mwangi has been in the forefront in equipping sports clubs across the constituency with uniform ,balls and other sports and game kits.

Football and volleyball teams that have benefitted have been continually urged to to make maximum use of the available facilities and sports gear provided and steer forward the sports and games agenda in Tetu Constituency.

I have put my family and myself in a bad situation.It is true I had a friendship with ms. Karen Nyamu and its this involvement that led to the birth of an innocent child whom I have and will always support both emotionally and materially.I am a proud father to my children.
